I am going with the family to Sardinia (where Francesca's family is) on the 21st and we will be there until the 28th. After that we are going to the mountain, but they have not decided in which country.
I wrote your dad a birthday shout out, and he sent me the link to your site. How fun! I'm jealous! We were in Assisi and Sicilia this summer (you should go to Mistretta and Casteltermini, from whence we Mistrette really hail while you're in the vicinity!) Sicilia was so charming and friendly! Uncle Steve, Aunt Lynn, Aunt Celia and I---and our kids--- went this summer, and it was AWESOME!
It was fun reading your "diary". I'm assuming you're an au pair, and Alice is your little charge, si? I'll keep up on your news from now on. How long are you planning to stay?
In case you read this and not im, I was off with Jeff buying his car and selling yours. It does not need to be insured any more so if you did not pay the insurance yet, don't.
So I decided since things were not working out like I had expected I would do something completely crazy. I found a family who wants an au pair and I am moving to Italy.
