In Sardinia

So last night I managed to get online with the Mistretta clan for Christmas which was great. I finished my laundry and getting packed about 2 am and at 4 am we got up and headed to the airport for our 6:30 flight to Alghero. We got to the airport and checked in, then stood in line for a while. Then we got to the gate I gave them the paperwork that they had given me and they told me I did not have my boarding pass. I looked in all of my stuff and could not find the boarding pass they say they gave me. So a lot of tense minutes and the very rude lady in charge finally had them print me a new boarding pass and let me on the plane. Argh. I slept on the plane for the whole hour-long flight. Also you are only allowed one suitcase and I almost got yelled at like 4 times because I was pulling 2 suitcases (mine and 1 of Francesca's). Oh yeah and I had some random kid walk up to me and hit me in the airport for no reason. Should have been a terrible experience but I kind of found it all hilarious. And now I am typing this and Francesca's aunt is talking to me in Italian, so I will post more later. Buon Natale!

There is not one easy thing about living in a foreign country, is there?

Buon Natale! We will miss you at Grammy and Grampy's house this year. Take lots of pictures of Sardinia and your big fat Italian Christmas.
